CHLA today wrote FHFA Director Pulte and Treasury Secretary Bessent, commending Director Pulte for his tweet that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are beginning to buy even more of their MBS – citing data showing that such MBS purchases can bring down mortgage rates and renewing CHLA’s call for the GSEs to buy Ginnie Mae MBS
